Generational curses are not real

Why follow God, why believe in anything at all if you already been condemned to a life of trouble and misery?

(This idea really goes against the nature of a just and loving God)

Fact is,

We all are given a choice to either accept or reject whatever is passed down to us

You don’t come from a line of drunks, or drug addicts, sexual and physical abusers or adulterers

you come from a line of people who all said yes to the dysfunctional patterns offered to them

Yes, parents can create and maintain environments that make it easier or less favorable to mimic the patterns or ways of those before

but ultimately the choice is up to YOU.

“Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin” – Deuteronomy 24:16
