sin makes you delusional

it never was a good as it seemed

it never worked out when you did things your way

those things you use to do felt good for only a few minutes then you were right back thinking

clinking

sinking

sin dupes you into believing you had it all together

that you can move and make things happen without God

but your efforts never worked

they were always in vain

yes even when things seemingly “worked out”

even when you pieced those things together

it never lasted

“But as for me, I will keep watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God who will save me; my God will hear me” Micah 7:7

it never stayed.
